The aim of the group is to foster members’ understanding and enjoyment of a wide range of (mainly, but not exclusively) classical music.
Meetings usually take the form of listening to recorded extracts on a particular theme, with guidance as to composer, style and content.

Recent meetings have included:

• Invitation to the Dance
• The November Connection
• Music from the British Isles
• Kings, Queens and Emperors

Visits are sometimes arranged to screenings of the Royal Ballet at Cineworld in Solihull and local concerts.
It is hoped that members will take an active part in deciding on future events.
