Ray Sturdy, our speaker, has a passion for both travel and photography. The latter has helped him create  presentations about the many places he has visited

This talk is about his visit to Antarctica. Through Ray’s photographs we will view the amazing scenery and the wildlife, which includes birds,whales, seals, penguins etc.We wil also hear about the history of the area and some early explorers such  as Scott, Amundsen and Shackleton.
