This year marks 35 years of life-saving service across the Midlands from the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, one of the UK’s busiest and most advanced air ambulance services.

Since 1991 the charity has responded to over 82,500 emergencies across 6 counties.

Its mission is to provide pre-hospital care and life-saving intervention for patients,with helicopter-led medical services. A highly skilled team of pre- hospital emergency doctors and critical care paramedics, equipped with specialist equipment to carry out treatment at the scene, provide outstanding care to patients.

This talk will cover the work of the charity and the changes and advances which have been made in recent years.
